We are looking for an experienced and highly-skilled Salesforce Technical Lead to lead design, development, and engineering delivery of Consumer Goods Cloud Retail Execution (REX).
This is a German-speaking position. Professional fluency in German and English is required, as you will work directly with German-speaking clients and international project teams.
In this role, you will be the technical authority for our Salesforce Consumer Goods (CG-REX) Cloud Retail Execution implementations. You will own the hands-on engineering of high-performing mobile offline sync engines, complex retail execution data models, custom Apex/LWC logic, and integration pipelines connecting field mobile apps to backend enterprise ERPs.
You will lead technical delivery teams, uphold strict code quality standards, and solve complex performance and scalability challenges in high-frequency, low-connectivity retail store environments.

Technical Architecture, Engineering & Mobile Performance
- Lead the technical design, development standards, and code execution for Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud (Retail Execution, Offline Mobile App, Direct Store Delivery, Asset Management).
- Own the performance, data payload sizing, and sync optimization for the CG Cloud Offline Mobile App, ensuring seamless offline capability for field reps operating in low-connectivity retail environments.
- Oversee and engineer complex configurations and customizations
- Assortments, Custom Apex, triggers, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Architect and build secure, high-throughput integration flows (REST/SOAP, OData, Bulk API, MuleSoft) connecting CG Cloud with SAP, Oracle ERP, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Data Warehouses.
- Lead, mentor, and conduct rigorous code reviews for Salesforce Developers and Technical Consultants. Identify strengths and weaknesses of the development team to facilitate staffing and growth.
- Conduct architecture reviews (Design Review Boards), evaluate code vs. point and click configuration or out-of-the-box capabilities.
- Govern platform technical debt, oversee code reviews, and project quality
- Enforce Salesforce coding best practices, governor limits management, security controls, and CI/CD deployment pipelines (e.g. Git, Copado, SFDX, Jenkins).
- Serve as the technical escalation point for critical mobile sync failures, data corruption issues, or performance bottlenecks in production environments.
- Facilitate the production of Technical Architecture and Custom Design documentation.
- Has a good understanding of the FMCG Industry and has a business mindset.
- Has a good understanding of a typical day in the life of a Key Account Managers and Field Sales Representatives.
- Communicate technical designs, system diagrams, and architectural trade-offs directly to client architects, IT leads, and engineering teams. Be able to communicate technical designs to business users.
- Partner with Business Consultants and Solution Architects to estimate technical user stories, manage sprint backlogs, and deliver technical milestones in fast-paced rollout schedules.
- Support pre-sales activities, including proposal development, solution demonstrations, scope definition, effort estimation and client discovery workshops.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development and engineering experience, with 2+ years as a Technical Lead or Lead Developer.
- Deep technical expertise in Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud (REX), including hands-on experience with the CG Cloud Offline Mobile App Framework and sync rules.
- Advanced technical mastery of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, Flow, Event-Driven Architecture (Platform Events), and asynchronous processing (Batchable, Queueable).
- Proven track record building enterprise integrations between Salesforce and ERP/Supply Chain engines (SAP SD/MM, Oracle).
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Consumer Goods Cloud Accredited Professional, Sales Cloud Consultant) are a strong plus, not must haves.
- Professional fluency in German (C1 level or equivalent) is required

- Strong passion for exploring emerging technologies (e.g., Salesforce Data Cloud, AI/Agentforce) and adapting technical architectures quickly to meet rapid, evolving client requirements.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical decisions to C-level executives and business/non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, multi-market rollout environments (Global/Regional templates).
